Spruce Krause Bio
My name is Spruce Krause and I'm delighted you stopped by. I appreciate the opportunity to share with you holistic healing and life skills tools, plus laughter and playfulness tips that I personally use and regularly share with my clients and workshop participants. Life is way too important to be taken too seriously.
For more than 20 years, I have been living my dream of supporting clients and workshop participants with spiritual, heart based principles. I am so grateful that the internet makes it possible to share these ideas and tools with an even wider audience. Prior to creating my dream business, I gained valuable personal and professional experiences as a high school English teacher, a wholesale business owner and psychologist. I believe we all have a lot of wisdom within us, and with a little bit of willingness and the right tools we can make that wisdom more assessable, at a much deeper level, and have more insight, creativity, compassion and joy. My life is like a delicious soup made from a variety of ingredients. I'm passionate about my business. It's always fresh, and in this work I'm able to blend all my interests and past experience to help others heal, grow and live life with joy and passion. I've always been curious about the big questions:
the meaning of life, how to live with authentic purpose, more joy
(and less anxiety), and finding the perfect dark chocolate. I remember my mom often said to me, when I was growing up, "What are you so intently searching for?" I was blessed to have a mom who was a great non-judgmental listener and who had a gift for not searching too much, but accepting life as it was. I began more serious (and playful) spiritual exploration in my thirties. I continue to make my spiritual path the foundation for my life and work, drawing on Mindfulness Meditation, Buddhism, Earth Based Spirituality, A Course in Miracles, the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, as well as other sources of inspiration. I also consider dancing and creating visual art part of my spiritual path. I believe all of life is spiritual and that whatever brings us more joy, peace, compassion and generosity of heart, is our personal spiritual path. After receiving a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, I have continued to study with a variety of teachers from California to Tibet. I use many different modalities and tools in my Holistic Healing Practice: Intuitive Life/Career Coaching, Reiki and Quantum Touch©, blending words, silence, movement, energy, touch, and imagination, to help the client come into alignment with their authentic self and inner wisdom. For a more complete description of the wide variety of tools and experiences available during sessions click on Spruce Sessions in the navigation bar at the top of the page. When not doing the holistic healing work that I love, you can find me dancing, creating visual art, gardening, biking, meditating, hanging out with my wonderful friends, and visiting my delightful daughter. |
